AFLTS Assigns Internships for 2018-19

FOR RELEASE, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2018
PLYMOUTH, MN

Seminary internships have been assigned to five senior AFLTS students who are currently in their final semester of classroom instruction for the Master of Divinity program. The seminary internship allows students to receive practical pastoral ministry experience while working with an experienced AFLC pastor. Internships will begin in June 2018 and continue for one year.

Kevin Cyzmbor is assigned to Ruthfred Lutheran Church in Bethel Park, PA, under the supervision of Rev. Steve Carlson.

Justin Nelson is assigned to Emmaus Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN, under the supervision of Rev. Nick Dyrud.

David Niemela is assigned to Rose Free Lutheran Church and Spruce Free Lutheran Church in Roseau, MN, under the supervision of Rev. Todd Erickson.

Matthew Pillman is assigned to Christ the King Free Lutheran Church in Pipestone, MN, under the supervision of Rev. Tim Johnson.

Israel Vazquez Flores is assigned to St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church in Salinas, CA, under the supervision of Rev. Scott Stroud.

 

Founded in 1964 by the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (www.aflc.org), the Free Lutheran Schools include a two year post-secondary program (Association Free Lutheran Bible School- www.aflbs.org) and a four year pastoral training program at the Masters of Divinity Level (Association Free Lutheran Theological Seminary- www.aflts.org).
