Meet the Dorm Staff

Brad Bierle

My name is Brad Bierle and I would like to be one of the first to welcome you to the FLBC family! On behalf of the dorm staff team, we are all very excited to have you join us for the upcoming academic year! This fall will be the start of my fourth year on campus. I have served as the Men’s Resident Head and, most recently, as the Director of Student Life. I also continue to enjoy my roles as FLBC Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach. It has been a joy and a privilege to share so much time directly with students over the last several years, and it remains my favorite aspect of ministry here. I look forward to meeting each one of you (and seeing all of you who are returning!) as we discover God’s plan at work in our lives together in this special, gospel-centered community.

Fun Fact: I love golfing but have recently been exploring disc golf as another option. I am terrible, but am hoping to improve with practice!

Emily Kregel

Hey everyone! My name is Emily Kregel and I am the Women’s Resident Head here on campus. I graduated from FLBC in 2013 and have been so blessed to be called back to work here. I was a Dorm Assistant (DA) for one year and have been the Resident Head (RH) for three years now. I am also the front desk receptionist in the main office, International Student Support, and Events Coordinator! I am so excited to meet you all and see the returning second year students! God has been teaching me this past year so much about His heart and His ministry and what that looks like for us here on earth. I am so excited to apply that in the dorm and on campus this year!

Fun Fact: I have a new little friend living here with me on Campus, his name is Gus and he is a Goldendoodle puppy! He is so excited to meet you all!

Ignacio Dávalos

What’s up everyone! My name is Ignacio Dávalos – yeah, I know you probably can’t pronounce those two names. (If you do, you are awesome. If not, you are awesome as well). You don’t have to worry about being able to say any of those two names. You have full permission, from the time we meet and going forward, to call me Nacho. I have the honor of being the new Men’s Resident Head on campus as well as the Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. I graduated from FLBC in 2019 and was very blessed in my time as a student. I am so excited to follow God’s leading as I return to work here. I can’t wait to meet all of you and to see how the Lord works in your lives during your time in this amazing place. You guys are blessed with an amazing group of DA’s, and I know they are excited to meet you all as well.

Fun Fact: I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. This fall will be the start of my fourth year in the USAand the fourth month of my marriage to Kaetlyn!
