April 9 - April 11
Potential FLBC students, 9th grade and up, are invited for a weekend full of learning and fellowship. While students can learn more about FLBC, this event is designed specifically for guests to enjoy FLBC campus life, find spiritual encouragement from FLBC staff and faculty, and build relationships with other prospective students.
FLBC is excited to have alumnus Elise Parsley (Hylden), author and illustrator of the children’s book “If You Want to Bring an Alligator to School, Don’t!” (and others) as a featured workshop presenter April 10 during Campus Days. Elise will briefly share how she arrived at her career as a children’s book author and illustrator, and then guide students through some of the practical elements of how she crafts both text and images. Participants will also be led through an interactive manuscript critiquing demonstration, followed by Q&A. If you have one of her books, bring it along for the author to sign!
Campus Days weekend includes the following:
- Preaching from God’s Word
- Workshops pertaining to your Christian life
- Access to the brand new Student Life Center gymnasium
- Vespers and praise times led by FLBC students
