God Will Act – Nate Wilhelm

As I was looking at Psalm 37:5, I was reminded of all the things God has done for me recently. During my senior year of high school, I thought that I had everything planned out. I was going to pursue a music major and hopefully start a long-lasting career as a vocal performer. However, I kept sensing that God was calling me to the Free Lutheran Bible College, so I switched my plans completely. This meant that I would be paying more for college, and I would be much farther away from home. To say that I was worried about the logistics would be an understatement, but I found comfort in the fact that if it was God’s will for me to be here, then He would provide for me.

While being here, not only has God provided me with a stable job to pay for school, but He has also given me a great sense of peace and calmness in my life. It has been so freeing to cast my worries and concerns on God and know I can call on Him for help. I need His help in everything I do, and He’s given it to me. There have been many times in the past few months when I have felt beaten down by the world. In these times, I remember that God is my hope and help and that He has always been there for me.
