Intercessor Team Update – December

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. – Titus 2:11-15

Just think of it. The one thing the human race needed God Himself delivered that holy night in Bethlehem continuing on to Golgotha. Jesus’ birth was God’s gift and totally overwhelmed the angels in this display of gracious power and love never seen before. Jesus is the Living Word and presents Himself as a gift to individual souls whom He seeks to save and bless. And so we fix our spiritual eyes upon Jesus as we await His return. As we focus on Christ, the source of hope, peace, joy and love we experience something of the divine right now. We can have all we want because it depends on Him. Take time to consider God’s Gift to you this season. He is still delivering Himself to the world. Let us hope in Him and display to the world the difference He makes in our lives.
