Dear Praying Friends of Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary:
Thank you for your love for the Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary, and for praying for FLBCS as we continue to establish students in the Word of God for life in Jesus Christ. Our 117 undergrad and 19 graduate students began their new semester in January, and the semester is doing well despite some illness and our annual questioning of why anyone lives at this latitude. The winters get long, but there are ways to prepare for it. Spring is coming very soon, and we don’t wish away any day or week God gives us.
As I think about you praying for FLBCS, I also think about your family and congregation. Many of you have had annual meetings lately. Congregational life is where it’s at, and congregational leadership is essential for healthy congregational ministry. Such leadership is not easy. It is sometimes as difficult as it is necessary. But I hope it is also rewarding to you. I pray that you endure and enjoy. It is a privilege to serve by leading and lead by serving.
Thank you for praying,
Pastor Wade
