New Admissions Staff and Other Staff Changes

The AFLC Schools are undergoing several staff changes in the Admissions, Finance, and Academic Departments.

Rebecca Moan is joining staff as AFLBS Admissions Coordinator. Moan is also an adjunct teacher for two AFLBS classes, Children’s Ministry and Christian Education. She replaces Matthew Pillman, who served in the position for three years. Pillman, a current AFLTS student, will be serving his one-year seminary internship starting in June.

Michelle Alverson will be transitioning from her role as Admissions Advisor to serve as Finance Coordinator and Ministry Teams Coordinator beginning in June. Alverson replaces Katie Johnson, who has served at the schools for four years in various support roles.

Caleb Holt, a 2017 AFLBS graduate, will join the AFLBS Admissions Team as Admissions Advisor, a part-time role previously filled by Michelle Alverson. The position will continue to focus on recruiting visits and follow-up to prospective students. Holt is a current student at the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, majoring in Communications.

Sarah Bierle, current Women’s Resident Head, is now serving as Registrar/Academic and Institutional Effectiveness Support Coordinator. She replaces Julia Pillman (Erickson), who served as Registrar and assistant in the academic office. Bierle will transition out of the Women’s Resident Head role in the summer.

The schools are very grateful to Matthew Pillman, Katie Johnson, and Julia Pillman for their faithful service.
