New Employees to Start Serving at FLBCS

The Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary is looking forward to new individuals filling certain roles on our campus. It is with joy that we look forward to Luke Quanbeck, Logan Strand, Brett Erickson, and Micah Moan serving on campus this year.

Luke Quanbeck is a 2012 alum of FLBC. Afterward, he went on to earn a Bachelor of English Writing at MSUM Moorhead. Since then, he has lived in Fargo, ND working as a content marketing creator in the e-commerce industry and running live video for Maranatha Free Lutheran Church in Glyndon, MN. Quanbeck will be taking on the role of Communications Coordinator, leading efforts to tell the story of what God is doing through the ministry of the Bible College and Seminary.

“I believe FLBC is well positioned to teach today’s young Christians to be tomorrow’s leaders, not only in the church, but also in their communities and workplaces. I feel privileged to return to the school to be a part of what God is doing here.”

Logan Strand graduated from FLBC in 2017 and went on to attend Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minn. At Crown, Strand pursued Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science and Christian Studies and minored in Coaching. He will be using his talents to serve FLBC as the Men’s Resident Head and as the Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach. Strand is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Ministry Leadership at Crown College. He looks forward to serving the students at FLBC in his roles on campus.

“I am humbled and blessed for the opportunity to be a part of the ministry at FLBC. I am excited to see what God has planned for everyone on this campus.”

Brett Erickson attended FLBC and graduated in 2020. From FLBC, Brett went on to further his education at Crown College and is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical & Theological Studies online. Erickson works on campus as the Custodial Supervisor and also serves as a Dorm Assistant. He also works at a private school in Maple Grove, Minn. as the Assistant Cross Country Coach. Erickson is excited to be involved in ministering to students on campus.

“As a Dorm Assistant I am excited to disciple and develop intentional, faith based relationships with students that always point them to Christ! ‘In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.’” Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭(ESV‬‬).

Micah Moan graduated from FLBC in 2020. Moan continued his education at Crown College and received a degree in Biblical & Theological Studies. He will now be serving as a Dorm Assistant on campus while he attends Free Lutheran Seminary. Moan will be working at a Montessori School in Plymouth, Minn. this year.

“In my role as DA, I personally am excited to serve and grow as a leader and listener. Relationships built on a Christian foundation are so valuable, and I’m hyped to develop these lasting friendships with my brothers and sisters in Christ!”
