New Faces Join the FLBCS Ministry Team

In the last month, there have been a few employee transitions on the Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary campus. It is with joy FLBCS welcomes Josh Bostrom, Ignacio Davalos, Wendy Greven, and Ryan Jones to campus.

Josh Bostrom is taking over the role of seminarian Patrick VandenBos who has left for his internship in Fargo, ND. Bostrom is an integral part of the team on campus and will be serving as I.T. Support Specialist. Bostrom is passionate about I.T. and excited for the opportunity to use his gifts to serve the Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary.

“I’m excited to get to know awesome people while being able to serve God doing something that I love.”

Ryan Jones is an FLBC graduate (2017) and has returned to campus as the new Media Specialist. This role was previously held by Andrew Abel who is now happy to be serving his congregation in a full-time position. Jones attended the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and recently graduated with a degree in Media Production with an Emphasis in Recording Arts. Jones is excited to be back on campus using his talents to participate in the ministry efforts of FLBCS. He is also excited to be serving as a Men’s Dorm Assistant this fall.

“I’m excited to join the team of people here that are communicating the hope that we have in Christ. There are so many stories to tell and I’m really looking forward to seeing what my Father does this fall. Go conquerors!”

Ignacio Dávalos graduated from FLBC in 2019 and is taking over as Men’s Resident Head and Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach this coming academic year. Over the past year, he has been serving as the Youth Ministry Intern at Abiding Savior in Sioux Falls, SD. Dávalos recently married Katelyn (Kramer) and they will both be moving to campus in August of this year.

“I am blessed and excited to be part of the ministry of the Bible College this year. I am excited to see how God works in and through students. Also, can’t wait to get some W’s, Go Conqs!!!!”

Wendy Greven is an alumnus of FLBC and will be serving as the new Women’s Basketball Coach. The FLBC basketball program is very thankful for the dedication and selfless service Scott Erickson provided in this role last year. Greven attended the University of Northwestern – St. Paul and received a degree in Art Education in 1995. She coached alongside her husband (John) at FLBC from 1993-1997.

“FLBC basketball is so fun and I’m excited for the opportunity to be involved with it again, but most of all I’m honored to be given the privilege to pour into the lives of the young women who will be a part of the basketball program. My prayer is that these young women will grow in their walk with the Lord through their participation in FLBC basketball.”
