There are times when all of us think we are going crazy. Even framing the question is dangerous: “Am I going to make it?” usually sends us in a bad direction. I’m not even talking about legitimate mental health issues, which exist, and are a very real struggle for many people. Apart from clinical mental health, times, circumstances, and temperaments combine to put pressures on all of us.
We do well to fix our eyes on Jesus at all times: “When my anxious thoughts consume me, Your consolations delight my soul.” (Psalm 94:19)
I came across an article years ago that I printed and keep with my devotional materials. I don’t look at it every morning, but probably a couple of times per month. It may be helpful for you, too.
