Scholarship Contest Winners Announced

Congratulations to the 2018 AFLBS Scholarship Contest winners!

Participants were instructed to submit either a video or a written essay answering the question, “Why did you choose AFLBS?”

Entries were evaluated based on the following:

  • How well the question was answered
  • Quality and creativity
  • Appropriateness of the content
  • Online votes and interaction

And the winners are…

First Place ($1500) – Alisabeth Boyum

Second Place ($1000) – Hayley Shepard

I first heard about the Association Free Lutheran Bible School from Pastor Jim Johnson in January 2014; My family began to attend Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church in my hometown of Camarillo, California.
