So Long, Farewell

This is different, you think, as you heft a laundry basket down an empty hallway. Different in many ways. When you moved in last fall, the campus pulsed with excitement and activity. Back then, you couldn’t find a parking spot near the men’s dorm. It didn’t matter, though, because the moment you parked at the end of the lot, your car was swarmed with volunteers ready to carry your suitcases and laundry baskets up two flights of stairs.   Now, as you haul all of your belongings down the empty staircase during your designated social-distancing move-out time and walk out the side door for the last time as an FLBC student, you only have a short walk to the closest parking spot. There’s always a bright side.

Kinship is a magazine of the FLBCS. Stay up to date on the latest news, student stories, classroom highlights, and fun tidbits about life on the FLBC and FLS campus.
