MEDIA MINISTRY DIRECTOR
MINISTRY GOAL:
The Media Ministry Director facilitates an environment where lives are transformed as a result of engaging with God in worship.

MINISTRY VISION:
Seeing Kingdom growth and lives being transformed as people encounter God through our online presence and in person ministries. To have consistent quality in services, events, and content being produced resulting in increased engagement online.

MINISTRY JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Media Ministry Director will work with the Worship Director in achieving the ministry goal by…
1. Leading the tech crew through rehearsals and worship services
2. Operating, testing and troubleshooting audio, video, camera, lighting, software, and networking equipment
3. Managing the production of livestream services and the online/social media platforms
4. Coaching technicians in their roles
5. Planning, Designing, and Managing social media posts and accounts
6. Engaging with online community through responding to comments and DMs
7. Producing videos and images for worship services, online communications, etc…
8. Listening and pastorally responding to individual preferences while serving the entire congregation in following the vision set by the pastor and council.
9. Photographing and videoing regular and special events for use in marketing
10. Designing marketing materials for use online, physical mailings and posting and anywhere else needed
11. Managing website, ensuring all information is up to date and presenting in a modern and inviting way
12. Producing and recording Home Group videos
13. Managing YouTube channel ensuring thumbnails, titles, and descriptions are modern, trendy, and interesting
14. Designing stage design, room ambience and slide aesthetic throughout the year to provide an atmosphere that is engaging and facilitates an environment where lives are transformed through worship.
15. Monitor analytics of online/social media platforms and social trends to best reach online community and see continuously increased engagement
16. Analyze the age and cultural demographics of our online community in order to strategize and implement best practices and content to reach those God is moving us to reach.

1. Possesses a practicing philosophy of technology in the church which views technical involvement as a vital ministry in the church life, values technical excellence, and demonstrates a firm belief and awe in what God can do with and through technology in His church.
2. Has experience working with at least several of the following systems in a live setting: audio, video, lighting, and presentation software like ProPresenter
3. Has some experience with media production through software(s) like Photoshop, Final Cut, Adobe Premier, Ableton Live, etc…
4. Has demonstrated that he/she can be a team player.
5. Values a variety in musical styles and worship expressions.
