Regardless of their choices after FLBC, all students are preparing to be examples in their family, workplace, community, and congregations. With dress standards, our overall goal is to create an environment that promotes Christ-centered community and a Christian witness to each other, and to the world. Hygiene and dress should emphasize cleanliness, neatness, maturity, modesty, and consideration for others over individual preferences. As adults, there is freedom for personal choice and individual expression. However, our commitment to community should reflect our pursuit of modesty by dressing in such a way as to not distract others or draw attention to ourselves inappropriately. Regardless of motivation or intent, the following guidelines are to be instructive in pursuing modesty and prioritizing respect for the community and for Godโs Word. While on campus, students must wear clothing that is modest. Clothing that violates this standard at FLBC includes but is not limited to and applies to both sexes where applicable: โข Garments that are revealingly tight/form fitting โข Garments that are low-cut, or strapless โข Garments that expose the midriff, back area, and/or undergarments โข Skirts/dresses above the knee without opaque leggings โข Short shorts (A minimum 4โ inseam is required) Leggings/yoga pants may only be worn when covered by appropriate length shorts, skirts/dresses, or long shirts/sweaters that fully cover your bottom, even while sitting.Parent/Guardian InformationPhone(Required)Email(Required) Media Release I consent for my child to appear in photos or video footage of this event that may be used in FLBC promotional materials.
