Worship Night for Local Youth

After the summer break, the Free Lutheran Bible College campus is full of life once again. There is a new sense of excitement as Bible College and Seminary students dive deeper into the study of God’s Word. And the campus chapel is once again being used for twice-weekly services, allowing students to worship their Creator through song and the Word of God.

Admissions advisor Dalton Jordahl wanted to extend those worship opportunities by inviting local youth to come for a night of praise on the FLBCS campus. The idea eventually became a reality, and on Nov. 17, the Bible College will host a night of praise and worship for local youth. FLBC strongly believes in training students to serve and reach out to those in their local community. The night of praise will allow FLBC students to lead worship and meet youths from around the local area.

Special guest Pastor Eric Westlake, from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Zumbrota, Minn., will speak at the event, which is geared toward an evangelistic emphasis. Many do not necessarily know that there is a place to dive deeper into the study of God’s Word near their hometown. The night of praise will allow many youths to step onto campus for the first time and interact with current students. Our prayer is that campus guests will leave with a deeper love for Jesus and the full confidence believers have in His finished work at the cross.
