Bible College Approved to Offer AA and BA in Bible and Ministry

PRESS RELEASE
Bible College Approved to Offer AA and BA in Bible and Ministry
Thursday, October 26, 2023
Plymouth, Minnesota
For Immediate Release

The Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary were approved on Tuesday, October 24, by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) to offer an Associate of Arts in Bible and Ministry as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry.

Bible College Dean, Pr. Adam Osier, remarked, “These new programs help us continue to do the one thing we’ve always done at FLBC. Time spent studying God’s Word will equip students for whatever future callings He places on their lives.”

With very few additions to the existing program, an A.A. will help graduates with credit transfer and degree completion at other institutions. General education courses can be earned through transfer credits or through a few new classes to be offered by FLBC next fall.

The B.A. program will serve students who want more of what FLBC already offers. Students who enter with college credit could complete this degree in two or three years at FLBC. Students will also have the option to emphasize an area of study, such as pre-seminary, youth and family ministry, worship and music ministry, or cross cultural ministry.

Bible College administration plans to share detailed program requirements with potential students by the end of the calendar year. Further information on the strategic plan can be found at https://flbc.edu/strategicplan/.
