Student Achievement

Free Lutheran Bible College:

87% of eligible students attending Free Lutheran Bible College in the fall of 2021 returned for the fall semester in 2022. This is the same retention rate (87%) as the previous year.

79% of the first-time, full-time students that began the two-year program in the fall of 2020 graduated* in the spring of 2022. Comparatively, 74% of the first-time, full-time students that began the program in the fall of 2019 graduated* in the spring of 2021.

FLBC is a two-year program and does not issue a formal degree, therefore job placement rates are not formally calculated with our alumni. Per the 2021 Graduating/Second Year Student Survey, 84% of respondents noted they were planning on pursuing a degree after FLBC.

*Graduation rate is the percentage of FLBC’s first-time, first-year undergraduate students who completed the program within 3 years (150% of the expected time for the program).

Free Lutheran Seminary:

While most students enrolled at the Free Lutheran Seminary complete their master's degree in four years, those not pursuing ordination can finish in three years as no internship is required in that situation. Since 2017, 100% of the students entering the seminary have graduated within three to five years of starting the program. Additionally, 100% of these student were working in jobs related to ministry within three months of graduation.
