For release, 12pm

The Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary announces a season of 60th anniversary events. The year 2024 marks 60 years since the founding of FLBCS, which has been establishing students in the Word of God for life in Jesus Christ ever since. To kick off this anniversary, FLBCS will host a celebratory reception during the AFLC Annual Conference on campus in June. Supporters and alumni are invited to attend additional campus events throughout the summer and fall.

This time of reflection will culminate in a 60th Anniversary Gala hosted in the FLBCS Student Life Center on Thursday, November 14. Dr. Philip Dearborn, President of the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) will keynote the event. Dr. Wade Mobley, President of FLBCS notes the importance of reflection: “What keeps me motivated is the thought of families, congregations, and communities impacted for Christ through the faithful service of the over 3000 souls established in God’s Word through these 60 years. I am thankful to God for His faithfulness through generations of men and women who have dedicated their lives to this mission.”
