Junior Coltin Cox has got his head on straight. And it has nothing to do with his black cowboy hat. Cox, a junior at FLBC, has every right to strut our halls with his ostrich boots, chaps, and plate-sized belt buckle, knowing full well he is a rodeo champion. Instead, Coltin totes his Bible and dons a plain button-down shirt and dress pants as he takes in a more precious prize: studying the Word. 

Coltin, from Pittsburgh, came by his cowboy skills naturally, following his great-grandfather and parents, all of whom were rodeo champs. The family spent many hours traveling across the country so that Coltin could compete in roping competitions. But when it came to his first step out of high school, he chose Bible college. 

“I picked Bible college because it brought more joy,” said Coltin. “No matter how passionate I am about rodeo, I am more passionate about God.”
