FLBCS is pleased to announce the hire of Pastor Brian Lunn. Beginning in January 2023, Lunn will be serving as adjunct professor in the seminary, teaching Hebrew.

Lunn grew up in Iowa and joined the AFLC while in high school. He graduated from FLBC in 2014, earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministry at Oak Hills Christian College in 2016, and completed his Master of Divinity from Free Lutheran Seminary in 2020. He serves Word of Life Free Lutheran Church in Upsala, Minnesota, where he lives with his wife, Leeanna, and their four children with another on the way.

During his time in seminary, Lunn was known for his skill with languages. Lunn says that his interest in languages led him to study not only Hebrew and Greek, but also Aramaic and Norwegian while at FLS. Dean of the Seminary, James Molstre, says of Lunn, “We are excited and blessed to have such a gifted young man willing to teach Hebrew in our seminary. Our students will benefit from Pastor Lunn’s expertise in the language arts.”
