Gudim Accepts Faculty Position, Moan Returns to Parish Ministry

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Rev. Dr. Jason Gudim has accepted a call to a full-time faculty position at the Free Lutheran Bible College & Seminary beginning June 1. Pastor Gudim is a graduate of the Bible College (2000) and Seminary (2011). He earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis MO, in 2021. Pastor Gudim began teaching Bible College courses as an adjunct professor in 2013. He currently serves Faith Free Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. He is married to Esther and together they have 5 children.

“Pastor Gudim is an experienced Pastor with a long track record of teaching in our schools,” noted Dr. James Molstre (Seminary Dean, Chief Academic Officer). “He is loved by his congregation and our students have appreciated his clear Biblical teaching.”

Additionally, current faculty member Rev. Jerry Moan has announced that he has accepted a call to serve at Mt. Carmel Free Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church in McIntosh, MN. Dr. Moan and his wife Rebecca, who also serves on the FLBCS staff, will move to McIntosh after the school year. 

“Pastor Moan has served well for 29 years. We will miss his teaching, his kind encouragement and his presence on campus,” said Molstre. “We are thrilled for both Jerry and Rebecca as they return to parish ministry. May God bless them both.”

Founded in 1964 by the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations, the Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary includes an undergraduate program in Bible and Ministry (FLBC) and a graduate Master of Divinity pastoral training program (FLS).
